Born on September 7, 1928 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he went to Central High School and received a Philadelphia Board of Education scholarship to attend the Tyler School of Fine Arts at Temple University, where he earned a B.F.A. and B.S. in Education. As a teenager, he had already attended evening classes at the Fleisher Art School as well as the Wagner Free Institute of Science, receiving d (showing 500 of 1898 characters). |
