| Born in Persia on Oct. 27, 1895. Oshanna moved to California with his parents shortly after the turn of the century. After graduating from Manual Arts High School in Los Angeles, he worked in commercial art there from 1920. By the 1940s he had settled in San Francisco into a studio at 1245 Van Ness Avenue where he produced industrial designs and murals. With artist Ernest Lenshaw, he decorated the Trade Winds Cocktail Room in Honolulu, did a carved panel of Scheherazade for the Leamington Ho (showing 500 of 744 characters). |
