Larisa Olshevskaya was born in Kiev, Ukraine in 1960.
She is a graduate of Kiev National Art Academy where she mastered in the painting of icons under Professor N.Storozhenko. In 1991 she moved to Prague and subsequently was invited to join the Czech Art Union Manes.
Her pictures come from the subconsious parts of the mind, the places where we keep all the experiences of our past lives. Her pictures focus on some real object surrounded by fantasy." All our words, names and events have colors "says Larisa." And I see it, I feel it from my childhood. " The central theme of her pictures: " ...we all can open the doors to Space inside our souls..."
