| Margaret works in oils on linen but uses them very lightly. In many of her works, the feeling is more of watercolor than of oils. Sweeping expanses of whites and light washes give the work a calm and restful feel. The meditative scenery and clear colors are equally as calming and the casual brushwork enhances the easiness. For the most part she works on the larger size with many of her pieces being well over 4 feet in width. She has had a very prolific career and the majority of her collection that has not been sold or offered for sale is just now becoming available. Most of the pieces are oriented horizontal with many diptychs and triptychs.
