| | Born in Los Angeles, CA on July 23, 1901. Following graduation from USC, Marion Vale studied at the Otis Art Institute (1922-23) and privately with John Hubbard Rich and Richard Munsell. After her marriage to Reginald Olds, she remained in Los Angeles and active in the local art scene through the early 1970s. She died in Orange County, CA on March 14, 1993.
