Growing up in rural Minnesota, she early on drew the flowers growing along the creek by her parent's farm.
Now working from her studio in Covina, California, "following in the footsteps of the California impressionists, Mary Ann captures the subtle colors, the moods and light changes of early morning or the last light of evening; the burnished look of hot, bright days, the golden sunsets of winter.
