| Maxine Olson was born in the San Joaquin Valley of California in 1931. Olson received her M.A. degree from California State University in Fresno. She taught at that school as well as at College of Sequoias, Corcoran State Prison, Instituto Allende in Mexico, and University of Georgia. Her current works are large format inkjet prints done on a 42” wide inkjet printer.
