| | Born in San Francisco, CA on Aug. 23, 1899. Oestermann was a lifelong resident of her native city. She was a pupil of Gertrude Albright, Lee Randolph, Rudolph Schaeffer, and Spencer Macky. Her work includes portraits and scenes of the Mother Lode area and Oregon. She was the niece of artist Anna Oestermann. In 1951 she wed James Stewart. She died in Contra Costa County, CA on Feb. 4, 1991. Exh: Calif.
