| | Born in Hungary in 1890. Raised in Chicago, Ordayne studied at the AIC and in Paris at Académies Julian and Colarossi. By the early 1920s he had moved to Seattle, WA. During 1925-29 he lived in Los Angeles and studied with Christian von Schneidau. He then returned to Seattle where he remained until his death on April 10, 1950.
