Watercolorist Robert J. O'Brien, born in Rochester, New York in 1954, moved to Vermont in 1977 where he has explored a variety of subjects dominated by the old, the derelict, the buildings and objects worn out by life and the passage of time. He currently (2003) lives in Weatherford, Vermont.
O'Brien was using watercolor as a medium as early as high school in Rochester. He later attended Fredonia State College in New York, receiving a B.A. degree from the State University of New York, Buf (showing 500 of 2110 characters). |
