| Rosa Odow as born in Los Angeles, CA of Japanese parents. Odow was interned at a relocation center in Wyoming during WWII. After the war she studied at the University of Denver and Kirkland School of Art. She then worked as a fashion illustrator for department stores in Los Angeles while further studying at Chouinard Art Institute. She currently teaches art in Torrance, California.
