Earning an undergraduate degree at Principia College, Illinois, ThomasOstenberg, became an accomplished sculptor of abstract figurative work but spent his early career in business. He received an MBA from Stanford University in Finance in 1975, and from 1975 to 1986 was Vice President of Corporate Banking for Citibank in Brazil and Spain. From 1986 to 1990, he was an International Financial Consultant in New York, Brazil, and Spain.
