Biography from AskART:
| Primarily self taught, Will Ousley focused his painting on the countryside of southwestern Louisiana. He did have some professional training from Erasmus Humbrecht, an Alsatian artist who helped Ousley retouch murals in the French Quarter's St. Louis Cathedral in 1893.
