| Born in Chicago, Illinois in January 1883. Poole studied at the Royal Academy in Munich under Carl Marr and in Paris with Simon. He was a resident of Chicago, New York City and Old Lyme, Connecticut. During the late 1920s he was active in Los Angeles. He died on May 24, 1961.
