|  Painter. Born in Lockport, NY on Oct. 15, 1866. Adele (neé Adelle) Phelps moved to southern California in 1921 and lived in Long Beach and Laguna Beach. A spinster, she died in Los Angeles on Sept. 13, 1945. Her work includes landscapes of the Mojave Desert and the Sierra. Member: Long Beach AA.
