| | Born in NYC on April 13, 1892. Plummer earned her M.A. degree at UC Berkeley. She was a teaching assistant at UC (1914-17) and taught at Ukiah (CA) High School for two years. Settling in Oakland in 1919, she taught at McClymonds and Fremont High Schools until 1941. She died in Oakland on Nov. 14, 1957. Member: Pacific AA; AFA.
