Alkis PIerrakos is a Greek painter. He paints spontaneously since the age of 16 years and spent his childhood outside of Greece, a country in which he returned in 1938.
After years of war in Athens in 1947, he left his country for study and travel throughout the Italy, Switzerland and England finally settling in Paris, the city where he has worked since 1954 .
Since 1945-46, Pierrakos has painted more than 2000 oil on canvas or panel. Nearly half is visible in France, in priv (showing 500 of 4333 characters). |
