| Ann Trucksess Peirce was born in Boulder, Colorado in 1931. Peirce earned her MFA from the University of Colorado where both her parents taught art. She then taught art at Chico State from 1964 to 1995. Primarily a watercolorist, her work includes still lifes, street scenes, landscapes of Arizona and Bidwell Park near her home in Chico, CA.
