A commercial artist and painter, Anne Peyton spent the first 20 years
of her career doing promotional materials for the race-car industry,
"depicting vehicles for drivers, sponsors, and enthusiasts." But
from 2000, she has focused on an earlier interest, which was birds, and
which dated back to her childhood when she spent much time in Colorado
at her grandfather's house and watched him feed birds and read books he
had on the subject.
