This biography from the Archives of AskART:
The following is from the artist:

Recognized as a painter of florals and the equally demanding delicacy of lace in her still life's, Arleta Pech captures her favorite subjects with a careful blending of technical skill and aesthetic appreciation for their inherent beauty.

Born in Illinois in 1950, she comes to her chosen field naturally. As an
only child on her parents' farm in southern Illinois, she enjoyed
climbing the apple trees when in full bloom. Some of her most vivid
memories are of sitting high in the branches of these sweet smelling
trees, watching the light play across the blossoms.

While still a young girl, Arleta's family moved to Colorado, where she
continued to draw and paint. As a senior in high school, she received attention from an art instructor for her artistic abilities, and the instructor suggested she seek work in Denver's commercial art community. It was a turning point in Pach's life that she well remembers because it allowed her to develop and grow under professional tutelage, working on original designs and following them through to final production. One of her most noted designs during this period was the emblem for the Denver Bronco professional football team, used from 1970 to 1998.

Pech began her fine art painting career with a local art organization. She entered the limited edition print market in 1989 by signing with Mill Pond Press with the release of 40 editions thru 2000. Arleta signed with her new publisher, Hadley House in July, 2001.

She is a signature member of "The Rocky Mountain National Water media Society", and the "American Artist's Realism Today exhibit" shown at the John Pence Gallery in San Francisco, in Oct. 2000.
