This biography from the Archives of AskART:
A painter, teacher, designer and commercial artist, Arthur Prunier studied at the Massachusetts Normal Art School; Washington State Teacher's College; the Art Students League of Los Angeles; the San Diego School Art & Crafts, and with Stanton MacDonald-Wright; Everett Jackson and Nicolas Brigante.

Exhibitions venues included:
Oceanside, California, 1945; Vista Art Guild, 1946-57; Coronado Art Association, 1951; A.T. Exhibition, Los Angeles, 1952; Oceanside-Carlsbad, 1952-57; Escondido, California, 1957; San Diego County Fair, 1952-55; solo: The Contemporary Group Gallery, Hollywood; Carlsbad Hotel, 1948, 1953; San Diego School Art & Crafts, 1952; Palomar College, 1957-58; Santa Fe, 1958.

This biography from the Archives of AskART:
Born in Lynn, MA on Jan. 31, 1905, Arthur Prunier studied at Massachusetts Normal Art School and Washington State Teachers College. After settling in Los Angeles in 1928, he further studied at the Art Students League and with Stanton Macdonald-Wright.

During the 1930s he was active with the Federal Art Project. Under their auspices, he painted a mural in the Ruth Home School in El Monte with Frank Bowers.

He died in Anaheim, CA on Oct. 12, 1973.

Exhibition: Carlsbad Hotel, 1948; Coronado Art Association, 1951; San Diego County Fair, 1952.

Hayward Hotel, Sunkist Bldg, Coast Grinding Co. (all in Los Angeles).
