| The following is from Stephanie Strass:
Little is known about August Parrot. He was born in New York City on November 19, 1884, and died in the same city on November of 1965.
He exhibited in the Salons of America in 1924, a painting titled "The Old
Ruine", and in 1929 at The Society of Independent Artists, a painting titled "The Brook at Cedar Manor." His address in 1929 was noted as Jamaica, Long Island.
Landscapes seem to be his preferred subject.
