Biography from Art Helps:
| Brian Petro is a Washington, DC self-taught artist originally from rural central Pennsylvania. Several years after graduating and practicing in his trained medical field, he abandoned what he determined as office monotony to pursue his passion of creating artworks, which educate and share life moment and social commentary.
Over recent years, he has been commissioned by Absolut Vodka to be a part of their international advertising campaign, designed artworks and logos for Ritz-Carlton Hotels, and he has also had his work utilized by Saks Fifth Avenue. His work is collected internationally, most recently acquired for collections in England, Venezuela, and Brazil.
