|  Burnell Poole was born on 30 August 1884 in Boston, Massachusetts. He married his wife, Constance B. Poole (b. 1896, New York) in 1920. Son Burnell Poole, Jr. born 1924. In the summer of 1918 he traveled to Europe, particularly the British Isles, as “naval correspondent” for Everybody’s Magazine of New York City. He died in 1933 at Englewood, New Jersey.
Burnell Poole was the official artist of the British Fleet.
