Born in Oak Park, Illinois and subsequently living in Colorado and Tucson, Arizona, Darcie Peet is a plein-air landscape painter living in Tucson, Arizona. Her style combines realism and impressionism and her subjects include floral, mountain and desert landscapes and snow scenes.
In the fall of 2004, Peet received both the Collector's Choice Award (Sun, Rain and Blue Gentian) and the Artists' Choice Award (Dusk Shadows Above Gorge Lakes) from the Rocky Mountain Plein- (showing 500 of 1210 characters). |
