Dennis Parlante was born in Brooklyn, New York and early in his life he knew he would be involved in Art in one form or the other. After attending the High School of Art and Design in New York City, he graduated from New York State University College, New Paltz, New York.
He continued his education in a number of graduate schools including Ohio University, Pratt Institute, San Francisco Art Institute, and Florence, Italy.
