| | Born in Los Angeles, CA on Aug. 10, 1895. The son of an architect, Parkinson studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. During 1920-21 he studied art at the American Academy in Rome. Upon his return to Los Angeles, he joined his father's firm as a partner. Parkinson designed the city hall, federal building, and many important buildings in his native city while painting in his leisure. He died in Santa Monica, CA on Nov. 17, 1945. Member: Calif.
