| | Born in Minneapolis, MN on Sept. 7, 1907. Betty, as she was called, graduated from Sweetwater High School in Chula Vista, CA in 1922 and then entered the CSFA for six years of study. At that school she met Lucien Perona whom she married. In 1930-31 the Peronas lived in Hollywood and then moved to Sausalito on San Francisco Bay. The couple moved to New Jersey in 1946. Mrs. Perona died in an auto accident there in Atlantic Highlands on Dec. 20, 1967.
