Filippo Peroni (Filippo Perrone) was born in Gallarate on December 27, 1809 and died November 29, 1878.
He was the official set designer at the Teatro alla Scala of Milan from 1849 until 1867. An exhibition of about 300 sketches in watercolor of 30x20 cm length took place in Milan at the Museo Teatrale alla Scala from January 12 to February 9 in 1985. 25 of his sketches were exhibited in a show in the year 2000 at the Palazzo Reale of Milan, the theme was Giuseppe Verdi (showing 500 of 877 characters). |
