I. Early Years
After graduating from RISD Leif lived at 83 Lauriston Street, Providence. When her family suggested that she should be able to pay for her own art supplies, Leif looked for a job and was hired by a department store where she ran a hemstitching machine. She found studio space on Benefit Street and kept focusing on her work “longer than graduates usually do,” mentioned John R. Frazier, a former (showing 500 of 26805 characters). |
