| Painter, serigrapher. Born in Kansas City, MO in Feb. 18, 1894. Pettit studied at the Kansas City Art Institute. She was a resident of Los Angeles in 1922-23. Several years were spent in NYC with her husband Guy MacCoy. There in 1932 the MacCoys began producing silkscreen prints. Upon returning to southern California in 1947, the couple settled in Conoga Park where they remained. Mrs. MacCoy died there on Aug. 28, 1982. Exh: AIC, 1935; Kansas City Art Inst., 1938.
