Graham Parks won awards for his drawings as a child but in high school he pursued football which brought him a scholarship to the University of Idaho. Parks left school after a year and traveled and took up odd jobs before enrolling at Spokane Falls Community College where he studied printmaking and figure drawing. While in school he supported himself by learning the trade of bread baking.
In 1996 Parks moved to New York City and became an art handler at a gallery. A co-worker discovered (showing 500 of 969 characters). |
