| Largely self-taught, Gregory Paquette did not begin drawing until he was in his twenties. He credits his artistic learning to private lessons with Simon Dinnerstein, studying the art in museums and the experience of teaching drawing at the Pratt Institute and Kingsborough Community College in Brooklyn, New York.
