| Born in Chicago, IL on Aug. 24, 1907. Parker was educated at Groton (MA) School and Harvard University (1931). In 1934 he settled in southern California as a resident of Laguna Beach and Los Angeles. He studied painting with Millard Sheets at Chouinard Art School and taught art at Polytechnic School in Pasadena for two years. His subjects include portraits, landscapes and figures. During his early career he painted in a representational mode, but after a mental breakdown, his works became (showing 500 of 735 characters). |
