Helen Watson Phelps chiefly painted oils of figures, children, portraits, and still-life. She studied at Académie Julian, Paris under Collin, Bouguereau, and T. Robert-Fleury. She was a member of Providence Art Club and Newport Art Association. Her works are located at:
