Henry Perle (1872-)
Born in 1872 in Germany, he came to the United States and lived in New York. He was a member of and exhibited at the Society of Independent Artists 1921, 1926 to 1935. He lived at 5 Maspeth Ave. Brooklyn New York From 1921 until 1935.
Perle was self-taught and his subjects were landscapes, mountains, and children. He painted in an Impressionist as well as Folk Art style. He also painted in California, specifically around Yosemite. < (showing 500 of 859 characters). |
