The following information was submitted by the artist in May of 2006: Holly Mae Pendergast was raised on a small farm in the Appalachian mountains of North Carolina. She graduated from Columbus College of Art and Design in 1994 with a BFA in Illustration. She worked in the Los Angeles film industry as a conceptual designer for five years before giving into her dreams to be a painter. At that point she cut up her credit cards and moved to the mountains of Utah to paint full-t (showing 500 of 1833 characters). |
