| Irene Pijoan was known for filigree like compositions on cut out supports. Pijoan created public artwork for the cities of Oakland, Santa Clara and Seattle.
Irene Pijoan was the subject of a solo museum show at the San Jose ICA in 2001.
She died on August 18, 2004 in Berkeley, California of breast cancer.
