Jack Pierson, a conceptual artist, was born in Plymouth, Massachusetts in 1960. He received a BFA degree from the Massachusetts College of Art in Boston in 1984. He lives and works in New York, southern California and Provincetown, Massachusetts.
Pierson's work includes photographic transparencies exhibited in light boxes, written words and large letters and calligraphic symbols displayed on gallery walls. "Ocean + 1st (Pinkscape)," 1995, 72" x 71.7", color photograph with mixed media on (showing 500 of 1949 characters). |
