| Jacob Pfeiffer, the son of an artist and an artistically inclined
mother has always found art to be entertaining and enjoyable. He
attended Milwaukee public Schools that specialized in the arts and the
University of Wisconsin in Madison. He graduated with high honors and a
degree in art education.
Pfeiffer specializes in trompe-l'oeil
still life paintings. His subjects are every day objects that often
have an element of humor. Pfeiffer's technique which is slow and
controlled involves glazing in thin layers.
Pfeiffer lives in San Francisco and has exhibited in California and Wisconsin since 1998.
