| | Born in Yorkshire, England on Jan. 14, 1861. Pavilla immigrated to Los Angeles in 1884. He was a resident of Monterey in the 1920s and 1930s. As well as a painter, he was also an actor. He died in Nevada City, CA on Aug. 11, 1943. His rare paintings include adobes, missions, and old Monterey. Exh: Santa Cruz Art League, 1929-30. | Source:
