| Relevant personal background information on the artist includes:
John W. Paradise had two daughters, Frances Arden Paradise (AKA Fanny) and Susan D Paradise. Although the spelling of the name is incorrect, there is a listing for John, his daughter, Fanny and his grandson William Paradise Webster (son of Susan and William Henry Webster) in the 1860 Federal Census. Susan died in 1859. John, Susan and Fanny Paradise are all buried in Greenwood Cemetery in NY.
I have a portrait of Fanny and Susie Paradise that may have been painted by either John W. Paradise or his father John Paradise.
