A native of San Fernando, California, she became a painter of exquisite, impressionist floral still lifes and landscapes.
She devoted her adult life to giving painting instruction to would-be artists, and for seventeen years, taught at Los Angeles Valley College and twenty- nine years at the Art League of Los Angeles. She has also taught in Arizona at the Scottsdale Artists School.
