Julio Pro studied music in college and upon graduation joined the military and served in the Korean War. In 1960 Pro became an anesthesiologist and still practices part time today. In 1980 Julio Pro decide to study art and attended night school. At first, his medium of choice was pencil and colored pencil. Later he immersed himself in painting with oils.
Wildlife became his favorite subject and in 2002 His painting "Turkeys in the Straw" was accepted into the Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Mus (showing 500 of 5651 characters). |
