Lillie Pell's landscape paintings of Texas usually include include farm and ranch animals. She also paints a variety of still life compositions as well.
Pell's early years were spent in League City, Texas, near Houston. Her family encouraged her interest in art and she was mentored by a third grade teacher who took a special interest in her abilities.
Pell became a secondary school teacher and worked in other fields (showing 500 of 2275 characters). |
