Llewellyn Petley-Jones was a painter born in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. He subsequently lived in London, England (1934), Paris (late 1930’s), Vancouver, Canada (1951-1954), and Richmond, England (from 1955) where he died. His mediums were oil, watercolour and woodblock print. His subjects are landscapes, street scenes, portraits, harbours, coastal views, still life and abstract.
