Mario was born on December 2, 1948 in Carrara, Italy. Mario has been painting since he was a child. He has lived in San Francisco since 1970. In 1975 he travelled back to Florence to begin studies under the direction of Maestro Romano Stephanelli, a follower of Maestro Pierro Annigoni. He frequently returns to Italy to continue his studies in painting, drawing and frescoes.
In the winter of 1983-84 Mario assisted Maestro Romano Stefanelli in painting frescoes at the reconstructed monaster (showing 500 of 772 characters). |
