| Born in Chicago, IL in 1859. Parsons studied in San Francisco in the 1890s with L. P. Latimer and received criticism from her sketching partner and close friend, Alice Chittenden. She was the author of Wild Flowers of California which was published in the 1890s and illustrated by Margaret Warriner. She died in Kentfield, CA on Dec. 22, 1947.
