Painter. Born in San Francisco, CA in 1869. 'Molly' Hutchinson studied in San Francisco at the School of Design under Emil Carisen and privately with Hugo Fisher. She continued in Europe in Düsseldorf and at Académie Delecluse in Paris. After her marriage to artist Ernest Peixotto in New Orleans in 1897, she settled in NYC where she was active in the art scene while contributing articles to Scribner's and U.S. newspapers. At the onset of WWll she had homes in both Fontainebleau, France and NYC. (showing 500 of 860 characters).
