| Born in Prague, Czechoslovakia on Feb. 27,1886.
Pollak studied at the Vienna Academy of Art before settling in San Francisco in 1927. He exhibited landscapes and portraits locally and was active in the local art scene until his death on May 29, 1970 in Sausalito, CA.
